Hsin-Chun (or you can call her Joanna) is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist™, EMDR therapist, Level-II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Complex Trauma Trainer in training with Complex Trauma Training Consortium and former Teaching Fellow at Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She serves Massachusetts and Texas residents with life transition issues, clinical mental struggles, and developmental/attachment traumas via telehealth. She provides trauma-informed professional consultations, workshops and groups to the global communities.

Born and raised in Taiwan, Joanna respects the uniqueness of individuals from different cultural backgrounds and cares for every client sincerely from her heart. Every individual, regardless of age, was once a child. Through numerous interactions with people and the environment around us, we establish our internal belief systems embedded in the unique familial/social context and that there is no “one size fits all” approach to treatment. Joanna strives to provide a secure therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for healing and growth since relational wounds also heal through relationships. She meets clients’ needs based on their developmental age and implements evidence-based therapeutic modalities and cutting-edge neuroscience findings. She provides age-appropriate trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions to enhance psychosomatic connections.
